Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 23, 2026 · FTC Section 5 / 16 CFR Part 255 compliant

1. Material Connection Disclosure

Credit Restore operates an affiliate / creator program (described at /creators). Some links on this site, in our emails, in our blog posts, and in third-party content (YouTube videos, blog reviews, podcasts, social media posts) may be affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and subscribe to a paid Credit Restore plan, the referring creator earns a commission at no additional cost to you.

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and Section 5 of the FTC Act, which require clear and conspicuous disclosure of any material connection between an endorser and the brand they promote.

2. Commission Structure

Our affiliates earn:

  • A $25 fast-start bonus per referral, paid after the referred member's second successful payment
  • 15% of recurring monthly payments for up to 12 months, paid as the payments clear
  • On annual-plan referrals, 20% of the prepayment, paid upfront (instead of the monthly recurring)

All affiliates earn the same commission. Higher referral volumes unlock additional perks (a free account, priority support, co-branded content) — not higher commission rates. Commissions are clawed back if the referred member refunds within the 7-day window. See /creators for full tier details.

3. Editorial Independence

Our blog posts, comparison articles ("Lexington Law Review", "Credit Repair vs DIY", etc.), and product comparisons are written to be useful first and commercial second. We do not accept payment from third-party brands to inflate scores or shape conclusions. Where we recommend competitors, we link to them without affiliate codes unless that competitor offers a public affiliate program — in which case we disclose it inline.

4. Creator Disclosure Requirements

All Credit Restore affiliates are contractually required to disclose their affiliate relationship in any sponsored content. Specifically:

  • YouTube / TikTok / Instagram: "#ad" or "#sponsored" in the first 3 lines of the description; verbal disclosure within the first 15 seconds of video.
  • Blog posts: Visible disclosure at the top of any review or recommendation post.
  • Email / Newsletter: Disclosure in the email body, not buried in a footer.
  • X / Twitter / Threads: "#ad" in the post itself.

If you encounter affiliate content that does not disclose, please report it to support@restore.credit with the URL. We will issue a takedown notice or terminate the affiliate.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Credit Restore provides credit education tools and self-serve dispute software. Affiliate creators are not licensed credit-repair organizations and may not promise specific score increases, removal of accurate information, or guaranteed outcomes. Any such claim is grounds for affiliate termination.

6. Cookie Tracking

Affiliate referrals are tracked via a first-party cookie (cr_ref) with a 90-day attribution window. See our Cookie Policy 退款政策 联盟披露 联系 创作者 for details on this and other cookies.

7. Questions

Questions about a specific affiliate creator or the program in general? Email support@restore.credit.
